In my opinion this sport is interesting for the players and the public.  

DESCRIBING AN EVENT

Gemma- Have you ever been to the football match?

Sílvia-No, what's that all about?

Gemma- Well, many footballers play in this match and the bests win a prize.

Sílvia- So, they race along the river. What else happens?

Gemma- Well, there are always lots of people and there's food too. 

Sílvia- When's it on?

Gemma- It's this Sunday at 12pm-7pm. Do you fancy doing?

Sílvia- OK, that sounds good. Where's the best place to watch it?

Gemma-  Any zone is good. Let's meet at the station at 12pm.

BUYING TICKETS BY PHONE FOR A COMPETITION

Gemma: Hello, ticket connect. How can I help you?

Sílvia: Oh, hi. I'm phoning about ticket for the competition.

Gemma: Yes, can you tell me the date and place?

Sílvia: Yes, are there any tickets for the competition in Barcelona on the 24th of January?

Gemma: Yes, we've got tickets for that.

Sílvia: Great. How much are they.

Gemma: They're all 17 pounds

Sílvia: Ok. Can I have four tickets please?

Gemma: Yes, of course I'll nedd your name, address and a credit card number please?

Sílvia: Ok, right. Just a moment... Mum!

BIOGRAPHY

Cristiano Ronaldo was born on 5th December 1985. When he was three, he started to play football with his brothers.

First, he played for an amateur team, Andorinha. In 1995, at age eleven, Cristiano Ronaldo's reputation was growing in Portugal.

During the 2006-07 season, Ronaldo won the PFA Players' Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year awards.

ORAL PRESENTATION

Football has existed since 1654, but is origins are more than 300 years old. It's started in Britain, but now there are som Championships. It is the most popular ball sport in the world.

The biggest international Football competition is the World championship and there are some good footballers. Football is also a good business.

One of my favorite footballers is Christiano Ronaldo because he's a good player and has a lot of money.
